THE MORNING CALL. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1985 Herbert Poresky, 73; co-owned Slatington lamp company Herbert W. Poresky, 73, of 4060 N. Hills Drive, Hollywood, formerly of Allentown, died Monday in Hollywood Memorial Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was the husband of Helen (Goldstein) Poresky.

Lamp Slatington, for many He was co of Keystone years before retiring as vice president in 1965. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Phillip and Sadie Poresky. He was a member and officer of Temple Beth El, Allentown. Poresky was an officer of the Jewish Day School, Allentown; a past president of the Allentown lodge of B'nai B'rith, and a past president and secretary of the regional B'nai B'rith Council. Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Phyllis Goodfriend, of New York City and Louise Nyack, N.Y.; two sons, Daniel of Allentown and Paul of Myrtle Point, brother Milton in New Jersey; a sister, Birdie Beck of New York City, and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the temple. The Bachman Funeral Home, 1030 Walnut Allentown, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Helen M.

Kline Mrs. Helen M. Kline, 75, of 660 Pine Easton, died Tuesday in the Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Palmer Township. She was the wife of Paul W. Kline.

She was an operator at Di-Lu formerly Seamproof Easton, for many years until retiring in 1966. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Beers. Surviving with her husband are two brothers, Clarence and Allen, both of Bath R.D., and a sister, Mrs. Florence Bahr of Bethlehem. Services will be at 10:30 a.m.

Thursday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton. There will be no calling hours. Luther O. Brobst Luther O. Brobst, 79, of Wescosville R.2, died Tuesday in his home.

He was the husband of Mabel G. (Dengler) Brobst. He worked for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Fogelsville, for 43 years before retiring as klincker tapper in 1968. Born in Berks County, he was a son of the late Francis Brobst and Hattie (Hamm) Brobst Oldt. He was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli R.2, where he served on the council for many years.

Brobst was one of the founders of the Fogelsville Senior Citizens. Surviving with his widow are a son Francis of New N.J.; a daughter Raymond Schellhammer of Fogelsville; a sister Margaret, wife of Irvin Grim of Reading; a stepbrother, Sterling Oldt of Houston, Texas, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Gilbert F. Keller Son Funeral Home, 20 N.

Richard Freudenberger Richard E. Freudenberger, 76, of 6919 Lachlan Circle, Baltimore, formerly of Bethlehem, died Sunday in Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Baltimore. He was the husband of Blanche (Ruffer) Freudenberger. He worked in the accounting department at Western Electric Baltimore, for many years until retiring in 1970. Born in Newark, he was a son of the late Lewis A.

and Katherine H. (Enery) Freudenberger. Surviving with his widow are two sons, Richard E. Jr. of Columbia, and Ronald Q.

of Fallston, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Birch of Baltimore; a brother, Lewis A. Jr. of Bethlehem, and nine grandchildren. The Jenkins Funeral Home, Baltimore, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Beulah Hausman Mrs. Beulah M. Hausman, 93, of 2449 Main Schnecksville, died Tuesday in her home. She was the widow of George Hausman.

Born in Lowhill Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry R. and Mary Ann (Benner) Semmel. She was the oldest member of Union Lutheran Church, Neffs. Surviving are a daughter, Hilda wife of Lawrence H. Klotz of Schnecksville; two sons, Alton M.

of Schnecksville and Franklin H. of Germansville R.1; 11 grandchildren. 13 great-grandchildren and a greatgreat-granddaughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the church.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Helen (Kuplin) Bobich, with whom he resided, and the late Ernest Bobich. He was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. Surviving with his mother are a son, Scott R. of Bethlehem; three daughters, Dawn, wife of Terry Litz, and Lisa, both of Bethlehem, and Diane of Quakertown; a sister, Mrs.

John H. Persley John H. Persley, 68, of 431 S. 22nd Allentown, died Tuesday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Helen (Prorock) Persley.

He worked for Western Electric Allentown, for 23 years before retiring in 1983. Born in Olyphant, Lackawanna County, he was a son of the late Theodore and Mary (Fritz) Persley. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown. Surviving with his widow are a son, John and a daughter Susan, both at home; a brother Ted of Newfoundland, N.J., and two sisters, Anne of Olyphant Betty, wife of Vincent Kutzer of Allentown.

Stepp Sr. She was a collator at the former Allentown Record Co. for 18 years until retiring. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Irene James. Surviving with her husband are five sons, Donald E.

Donald L. Stengel Donald L. Stengel, 58, of 729 N. 28th Allentown, died Tuesday Allentown Hospital. He was the husband of Jean S.

(Sherry) Stengel. He worked in the security department at Western Electric Allentown, for 28 years until retiring in 1975. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Herman and Dorothy (Stine) Stengel. He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Allentown. Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Donna, wife of Randal Fronheiser of Allentown, and Sherrie, wife of Keith Stewart of New Tripoli, and a sister, Dolores Fritzinger of Wescosville.

Marguerite D. "Miss Rems" Reinsmith, 72, of 403 Barrett Road, Emmaus, died Tuesday in Allentown Hospital. She was the wife of Donald H. Reinsmith, a retired Emmaus funeral director. She owned and operated the former Paramount Office Service, Allentown, for 29 years before retiring in 1982.

She was manager there for Clarence Musselman when it was Paramount Business Service from 1931 until 1953. She also was a hairdresser and lady attendant at her husband's funeral home 1952-83. Born in Macungie, she was a daughter of the late John D. Jr. and Minnie M.

(McClellan) Rems. Mrs. Reinsmith was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus. She was a 1931 graduate of Bethlehem Business College.

Her only immediate survivor is her husband. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Kulik-Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Emmaus. Calling hours will be p.m. Thursday.

Leonard Shanaberger Leonard P. Shanaberger, 79, of 95 Morris Upper Nazareth Township, died Tuesday in his home. He was the husband of Dorothy F. (Stier) Shanaberger. He was a conductor for the former Lehigh-New England Railroad for 48 years before retiring in 1971.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary Jane (Reiter) Shanaberger. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth, where he was a councilman for six years. Surviving with his widow are nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m.
