He was the husband of Joan (Horvath) McNeaL George Frantz, principal Allentown school George E. Frantz, 83, formerly Allentown, died Friday in Luther Crest, South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of Elizabeth B. (Bastian) Frantz.

He was a teacher in the Allentown School District for many years and.principal of Raub Jr. High School for several years before retiring in 1973. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late George S. and Maud (Seip) Frantz. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Baker Chemical Phillipsburg, for 36 years, retiring in 1986 as director of marketing administration, export and special projects. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was a son of the late John Zapf and Pearl Katherine (Lindsey) Zapf Leutheu-ser. He was a member of Central Moravian Church, Bethlehem. Zapf was an Army veteran of World War IL serving in Europe. He was chairman of golf play at Saucon Valley Country Club.

Wilmer Baringer, 87, of Quakertown, died Friday in Quakertown Community Hospital. He was the husband of Iva (Zuck) Baringer. were married 66 years in August. He owned and operated his own butchering business, now know as Baringer Brothers, Richlandtown, 25 years, retiring in 1972. Before he was a plasterer in the Quakertown area for 20 years.

He was a self-employed welder. Donald E. Allen, The Morning Call chief copy editor Donald E. Allen, 71, of 117 S. 4th Allentown, died Saturday in Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Bethlehem.

Before retiring in 1985, Allen was chief copy editor at The Morning Call. He began at The Morning Call as a copy editor in 1971. Before that, he was a reporter for the Bradford Era, McKean County; the former Courier-Express in Buffalo, N.Y.; the Palm Beach (Fla.) Post-Times, and the Pocono Record, Stroudsburg. He was a reporter, copy editor, Pennsylvania state editor and night news editor for the former Easton Express. Allen graduated from Perm State University with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism.

He was one of six Courier-Express reporters cited by the New York State Historical Society for a series of articles, two of which he wrote, on the growth of Buffalo's suburban areas. Born in Lock Haven, Clinton County, he was a son of the late Clark J. and Dessa Delia (Lansber-ry) Allen. During World War he was an armored infantryman, serving in France and Germany, and received Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart with one oak leaf cluster. He was a past national president of the 14th Armored Division Association and judge advocate for Southeastern States Chapter of association.

She was the wife of George Shinsec. They were married 46 years in August. A realtor, she and her husband operated the Palmerton office of Kohler Marvin Realty for 10 years, retiring in 1989.

Before that, she was a computer operator for the former Keystone Lamp Manufacturer, Slatington, for 20 years. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Matthew Selis- ky ana Anastasia iteiumanj oeus-kyMatzuk. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton. He worked in local textile mills for many years, retiring in 1973. Before that, he was employed at the former Allentown Converting Co. for many years and was a kettle man at the former Tru-Blue Brewery, Northampton, for 20 years, retiring in 1950. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank and Theresa (Klement) Kroboth. He was a member of St.

Survivors: Daughters, Dolores Baker of Columbus, Ohio, and Gloria Warren of Whiting, N.J.; sisters, Agnes Schultz of Wading River, N.J., and Dorothy Pernice of Fort Meyers, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services: Wednesday in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. No calling hours.

Arrangements, Lanterman Allen Funeral Home, East Stroudsburg. John Onushko Jr. John Onushko 67, of 922 Brownstone Road, Nazareth, died Friday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Mary (Schultz) Onushko. They were married two years last month.

He was employed by the former Purelator Allentown, for 11 years, retiring in 1985. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John and Anna On-uskanich. He was a member of AGAPE Mennonite Church, Bath. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife; brother, Charles of Milford, sisters, Rose Marie, wife of Henry Mum-mey, Ellen Shellhammer, and Katherine, wife of Lester Haines, all of Allentown, and Julia Desh of Bethlehem; stepson, Paul Wernett of Nazareth; stepdaughter, Judith Kurz of Allentown; six step-grandchildren and three step-greatgrandchildren.

Mary G. McConaghy Mary G. McConaghy, 82, of 260 N. 3rd Lehighton, formerly of 34 N. Jefferson Allentown, died Saturday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late A. Francis McConaghy. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (McCauley) McQuillan. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton.

Survivors: Sons, Rev. Robert J. of Lehighton and John of Allentown; daughter, Theresa, wife of Larry Horinko of Burke, sister, Catherine, wife of Paul Korin of Bethlehem, and three grandchildren. Mass: 8 p.m. Monday in the church.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Redline) Reinhard and foster daughter of her aunt and uncle, Stella (Redline) Kovach of Allentown and the late John Kovach. She was a member of Seibert Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown. Survivors: Aunt; son, Michael A. of Bruceton, daughter, Mary Jane with whom she resided; brother, Richard E. of Cetronia; sister, Doris, wife of Loris Miller of Allentown, and two grandchildren.
