She was the wife of William S. Hollenbach. Gertrude Norgang dies at age 1 03 Gertrude E. Norgang, 103, formerly of 1011 Allen Allentown, died Thursday in Cedarbrook, Allentown R.2. Born in Heidelberg Township, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Catherine (Biery) Norgang.

She was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church, Walberts. A sister, Mrs. Daisy Roesch of Allentown, is the only immediate survivor. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 Linden Allentown.

Kichline, 70; trainer for 1 5 years at P-burg Catholic High Paul J. Kichline, 70, of 82 Heck-man Phillipsburg, died Thursday in Warren Hospital. He was the husband of the late Helen (Petrus) Kichline. He was a sergeant for the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission for 25 years before retiring five years ago.

He was a trainer at Phillipsburg Catholic High School for 15 years and assistant trainer at Lafayette College from 1960 until retiring. He was a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, from which he received a 25-year service award. Kichline was a founder of the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad and an exempt fireman of the Lincoln Fire Phillipsburg. He was a former member of the Phillipsburg Zoning Commission. Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Samuel and Helen (Dean) Kichline.

He was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. Surviving are two sons, P. Donald of Allentown and Robert of Phillipsburg; a brother Walter of Bethlehem Township; a sister Catherine of Phillipsburg and five grandchildren. Services at 8:15 a.m.

Monday in the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Phillipsburg, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in the church. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Virginia Gunderman Mrs. Virginia M.

Gunderman, 50, of 129 E. St. Joseph Easton, died Wednesday in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of Charles H. Gunderman.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of James H. Lattig of Nazareth and the late Anna (Drey) Lattig. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Easton. Surviving with her husband and father are two daughters, Diane of Easton and Kelly, at home; a son Charles, at home; seven sisters, Mrs.

Ellen Huff, Mrs. Margaret Kawalski, Marion, Mrs. June Hodge and Mrs. Barbara Piperato, all of Easton, Mrs. Josephine Grove of Dallas, Luzerne County, and Mrs.

Anna Bennett of Monroeville, Allegheny County, and a brother Eugene of Martins Creek. Services at 10:15 a.m. Saturday in the Curran Funeral Service, 1837 Washington Wilson, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in the church. Calling hours will be after 7 p.m. Friday.

David B.W. Miller David B.W. Miller, 30, of Penn Hall, White Haven Center, Luzerne County, formerly of Andreas R.1, died Thursday in Hazelton State Hospital. Born in West Penn Township, he was a son of Clayton O. Miller of Andreas R.l and the late Pauline E.

(Hoppes) Miller. Surviving with his father are three sisters, Linda wife of John Kunkel of Tamaqua R.3, and Elizabeth A. and Susan both at home, and three brothers, Kenneth C. of An dreas, Dale C. of Lancaster Bible College and Robert at home.

The Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Snyders, Route 309, is in charge of arrangements. Sister Mary Doris Clark Sister Mary Doris Clark of St. Joseph's Convent, 550 Division Bangor, died Thursday in the convent. She was assistant to the principal and mathematics teacher at Pius High School, Roseto.

She recently ob served her golden anniversary as a nun. She was born Dorothy A. Clark in Philadelphia. She was a member of Sisters of St. Joseph, Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia.

Surviving is a brother Frank of Ambler, Montgomery County. Services will be announced by the Hough Home for Funerals, 207 Market Bangor. NOW IN progress! ran ceramic studio Mrs. Elva M. "Pat" Elliott, 63, of 1334 Chew Allentown, died Thursday in Allentown Hospital after being stricken in her home.

She was the wife of Raymond E. Elliott Jr. She was the former owner and op erator of III Ceramic Studio, Allentown, which is now owned by her son, Raymond E. III. of Allentown.

She was empioyea at tne stumo at the time of her death. Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Carrie M. Hilbert. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Allentown. Surviving with her husband and son are two daughters, Sandra, wife of Irving Becker, and Mrs.

Particia L. Confer, both of Allentown; a brother Harold of Fleetwood; two sisters, Ruth, wife of Maynard Frey of Hel-lertown, and Dorothy, wife of Tilden DeLong of Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, and four grandchildren. Sunday. Frank N. Roth Frank N. Roth, 74, of 8 Victoria Drive, Allentown R.4, died Thursday in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Wilkes Barre. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Fekete) Roth.

He was a truck driver for Howard Sober, Allentown, for 22 years before retiring. Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Edward and Stella (Kei-chel) Roth. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Schleicher of Allentown and Mrs.

Julie Honald of Whitehall Township; a son, Terrence O. of Bethlehem, and a grandson. Services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. The Harold C.

Main Macungie, died Thursday in his home. He was the husband of Virginia (Walbert) Ziegler. He was a carpenter for Koneski Construction Emmaus, for several years before retiring. He previously was a maintenance man at the Lehigh Country Club, Allentown R.2, for many years. Born in Upper Milford Township, he was a son of the late David and Mabel (Lorish) Ziegler.

He was a member of Solomon's United Church of Christ, Macungie. Surviving with his widow are four daughters, Mrs. Ann Decker of Allentown, and Jacqueline, wife of Jack Butz, Judith, wife of Henry Schmoy-er, and Darlerte, wife of Gene Butz, all of Macungie; a son Dean of Allentown; four brothers, Charles and Paul, both of Emmaus, Thomas of Topton and Clarence of Macungie; five sisters, Mrs. Esther Clock, Edna, Helen, wife of Ralph Gehman, and Frances, wife of Earl Mory, all of Emmaus, and Ellen, wife of Earl Strauss of Macungie; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at the convenience of the family.

He was the husband of Margie (Delp) Rice. He was a retired employee of the former Fauzio Stripping Nesque-honing. Born in Mahanoy City, he was a son of the late Joseph and Magdelene (Venchus) Rice. He was a member of First Methodist Church, Tamaqua. Surviving with his widow are two sons, Peter M.

Ott Funeral Home, 111 N. Reading Boyertown, is in charge of arrangements. C. Laurence Scovell, former pharmacist in Nazareth C. Laurence Scovell, 77, a former pharmacist and civic leader in Nazareth, died Wednesday in his home at 272 Woodside Nazareth.

He was the husband of Marian Duryee Scovell and the late Cora (Woodring) Scovell. He owned and operated the Nazareth Pharmacy, formerly the Heckman Pharmacy, on S. Main Street, for 13 years before retiring in 1965. Early in life, he worked for Carter-Wallace Laboratories, S.B. Penick Co.

and E.R. Squibb Co. He entered the retail pharmacy business in Bethlehem in 1949. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1928. He was a past vice president of the Nazareth Chamber of Commerce and vice chairman of the Nazareth Rotary Club.

He was a charter member and first president of the Nazareth MORA Club and past president of the Lehigh Valley Pharmaceutical Association. Born in Towanda, Bradford County, he was a son of the late J. Wayne and Rowena (Mace) Scovell. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth, where he was a councilman and finance chairman.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne E. of McAfee, N.J., and C. Laurence Jr. of Jacksonville, five stepdaughters, Mrs. Stephen Lazun, Mrs.

George Lease and Mrs. Robert Flo-rey, all of Bethlehem, Mrs. Howard Hess of Medford, N.J., and Nancy Duryee of New York City, a brother, Mace H. of Ridley Park, Delaware County; eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m.

Dr. Melvin M. Goldberg, 45, of 2216 Montgomery Bethlehem, died Thursday in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He was the husband of Ann N. (Glickman) Goldberg.

He was a metallurgical engineer for the Carborundum Niagara Falls, N.Y. He graduated from Pennsylvania University and received his doctorate from Ohio State University. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Harvey and Birdie (Kubel) Goldberg of Allentown He was a member of Brith Sholom Community Center, Bethlehem. Surviving with his widow and parents are a son Kenneth and two daughters, Adele and Elena, all at home, and a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Entis of Bensalem Township.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Wallace M. Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Bethlehem. Frank J. Klose Frank J.

Klose, 74, of 805 Front Catasauqua, died Thursday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Anna I. (Hlatky) Klose. He was a prototype maker for Te-leflex, Limerick, Montgomery County, for many years before retiring. Before that, he was a teacher at Raub Junior High School Allentown, and in Bensalem Township and Corn-wells Heights, both in Bucks County.

Born in Catasasuqua, he was a son of the late Frank and Pauline (Per-kowska) Klose. He was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, North Catasauqua. Surviving with his widow are a daughter, Sylvia wife of Frank B. Stark of Wormleysburg, Cumberland County; a sister Florence, wife of John Basmajian of Philadelphia, and three grandchildren.

Services at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Clinton R. Diefenderfer Funeral Home, 1064 Fifth North Catasau- will be followed by a Mass of hristian Burial at 10 in the church. A calling period will begin at 9 a.m. Monday.

Ezra L. Barndt Ezra L. Barndt, 83, of Raub Road, Quakertown R.4, died Thursday in Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Edna (Kramer) Barndt. He worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation until retiring.

Born in Trumbauersville, he was a son of the late George and Lillie (Leister) Barndt. Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Pauline, wife of Russell Kline of Quakertown, and Betty, wife of Stanley Benner of Perkasie; four sons, Willard of Bethlehem, William of Quakertown, Orvil of Roslyn, Montgomery County, and Orvis of Sumneytown; a stepson, Floyd Kramer of Hellertown; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Shup of Quakertown and Mae, wife of Warren Kratz of Perkasie; four brothers, Stanley of Quaker-town, Clayton of Telford, Frank of Gilbertsville and Harvey of Perkasie; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
