B38 THE MORNING CALL, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13, 1990 DEATHS I Lottie Marsh Mrs. Lottie Marsh, 87, of 108 Main Richlandtown, formerly of Quakertown, died Friday in the Zohlman Nursing Home, Richlandtown. She was the wife of the late Arthur L. H. Marsh.

She was employed at the former Renninger Pants Factory, Quakertown, for many years, retiring in 1971. Born in Moorestown Township, she was a a daughter of the late Calvin and Emma (Engler) Silvius. She was a member of Trinity (Great Swamp) United Church of Christ, Spinnerstown, where she was vice president of the Ladies Aid for many years. Survivors: Daughters, Melva, wife of Richard Endean of Quakertown, and Doris, wife of Donald Flyte of Easton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m.

Broad Quakertown. Helen S. Ruchti Mrs. Helen S. Ruchti, 82, of 60 E.

Broad Shillington, Berks County, died Friday in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Emmanuel Ruchti. She was a waitress at the former Abraham Lincoln Hotel, Reading, for many years, retiring in 1980. Born in Kempton, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mabel (Schroeder) Kunkle. Survivors: Daughter, Bernice H.

Adams of Emmaus; sisters, Olive, wife of Stewart Hunsberger of Laureldale, Berks County, Hilda, wife of Claude Fox of Kempton, and Lillian Kosman of Northampton; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Anna Farkas Horwath Mrs. Anna Farkas Horwath, 77, of 1045 Crawford Bethlehem, died Friday in Muhlenberg Hospital Center. She was the wife of Louis Horwath. They were married 42 years last October 21. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Unger) Schultz.

She was a member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: Husband; sons, Louis Horwath and Stephen Farkas, both of Bethlehem; daughter, Anna, wife of James Vargo of Bethlehem; brother, Joseph of Allentown; sister, Theresa at home, and nine grandchildren. Mary Ann Crincic, 68, of 5348 Crestlake Sarasota, formerly of Gilbertsville, Montgomery County, died Friday in the Hillhaven Nursing Home, Sarasota. She was wife Laddie J. Crincic of Sarasota. They were married 48 years last February. She owned and operated Mac's Ceramics in her home in Gilberstville, for five years.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Roth) Nagy. She was a member of the Church of the Incarnation, Sarasota, Fla. Survivors: Husband; daughters, Barbara Cooper and Jeannine Gonzales, both of Pottstown, and Kathy Craine Hunt of Emmaus; son, Capt. Thomas, with the Air Force in Germany; brother, Bernie of Youngstown, and seven grandchildren. Memorial services: To be announced.

A singer with the Lancaster ChamberSingers and the Wheatland Chorale, Lancaster County, Rader had leading roles in operas and musicals at the Fulton Theater, Lancaster, during the 1970s and early 80's. Among them were "Hanzel and Gretel," "'The Marriage of Figaro," "The Medium," "The Sound of Music" and "Fiddler on the Roof." In Hawaii she performed in "Barefoot School." She taught for a year at Head Start in Hawaii, during an exchange program, and also taught at S. June Smith Center in Gap, Lancaster County. She directed adult and children's choirs at the Church of the Redeemer UCC, Hershey, 1958-64, and was a volunteer with the Green Circle program at the Lancaster YWCA. Jerome J.

Avate Sr. Jerome J. "Fuzzy" Avate 59, of 530 Main Northampton, died Thursday in his home. He was the husband of Doris L. (Blose) Avate.

They were married 38 years last November. Avate was a machine operator for the Northampton Municipal Water Authority for 29 years, and also owned and operated Family Outdoor Furniture Northampton, retiring from both positions last year. Born in Nazareth, he was a son of Myrtle M. (Hunsberger) Avate of Northampton and the late Jerome Avate. He was a member of St.

Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, North.Catasauqua. He was president of the Alliance Fire Company, Northampton, for 20 years. Survivors: Wife and mother; sons, Jerome J. Jr. of Coplay, James J.

of Walnutport and Joseph at home; daughters, Sherry L. Struss, and Wendy wife of Lewis W. Resh both of Walnutport, Connie wife of David Pritchard of Northampton, and Lisa A. of Whitehall Township, and six grandchildren. Services: 9:15 a.m.

Sittler Homer A. Sittler, 83, of 450 West Walnut Street, Kutztown, was fatally injured in an accident in Richmond Township, Berks County. Sittler was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. He was the husband of the late Olive R. (Heinly) Sittler.

He was a custodian at Kutztown University for 20 years, retiring in 1971. Prior to that, he was a farmer in Greenwich Township for 13 years. Born in Greenwich Township, he was a son of the late William A. and Mamie A. (Breininger) Sittler.

He was a member of New Jerusalem Zion United Church of Christ, Lenhartsville R.1. Survivors: Two granddaughters and four great He was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley A. Kutz, in 1986. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, TrexlerLudwick Funeral Home, 55 Noble Street, Kutztown.

Dorothy H. Heptner, 53, of 1542 Easton Bethlehem, died Thursday in St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Donald F. Heptner.

They were married 36 years in August. She was employed at Quaker State Vending Bethlehem, for five years, before retiring this year. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of Emma (Christman) Heidecker, who resided with her, and the late Henry Heidecker Sr. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Husband and mother; sons, Donald Jr. and Stephen, both at home; daughter, Stephanie, wife of David Bonsall of East Hartford, brothers, Henry and John and sister, Mary, all of Bethlehem, and a granddaughter. Ludlow Summit Hill, died Thursday in Coaldale Hospital. She was the wife of the late Peter Botteon. She worked at the old Loom Togs garment factory in Summit Hill for many years before retiring. Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Maria (Grosso) Castagnera. She was a member of St.

Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Summit Hill. Survivors: Brother, John of Mansfield, N.J.; sisters, Jennie Cin of Allentown and Marcella Massa of Coaldale; four grandchildren and three -grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughters, Edith Kulick of Summit Hill and Dolores Van Buren. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Thomas J.

Roy A. Kessler Roy A. Kessler, 75, of 15 Kessler Nazareth, died Friday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Alice (Gower) Kessler. They were married 51 years in March.

He was a sander at Martins Guitar Nazareth, before retiring in 1980. Born in Kesslerville, he was a son of the late Allen J. and Beulah E. (Arnold) Kessler. He was a member of St.

Peter's Lutheran Church, Plainfield Township. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Miriam wife of Thomas Kuntz of Slatington, and brother, Floyd A. of Pen Argyl. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Bensing Funeral Home, Moorestown.

Anthony, 76, of 534 Long Lane Road, Walnutport, died Friday in her home. She was the wife of the late John S. Anthony. Born in Aquashicola, she was a daughter of the late Elmer G. and Elsie (Wagner) Haydt.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Indianland. Survivors: Daughter, Elsie wife of Calvin Arner, son, Richard and sister Pauline, wife of Darwin Minnich, all of Walnutport; brothers, Roy of Wind Gap, Harvey of Bowmanstown, and Charles of Millsboro, and five grandchildren.
